Italian National Committee for UNICEF

Description

The Italian Committee for UNICEF – Onlus is an integral part of the global structure of UNICEF – United Nations Children’s Fund, the UN subsidiary body that has the mandate of protecting and promoting the rights of children and adolescents (0-18 years) worldwide, as well as contributing to the improvement of their living conditions. Created in 1974, the Italian Committee is one of the 33 National Committees for UNICEF present in donor countries, which operate on the basis of a Cooperation Agreement with UNICEF International. One of its key purposes is to inform and raise public awareness about the rights of children and adolescents.
